Having worked in the fitness industry for the last 5 years, I’ve noticed how gyms become ghost towns in July and August. I’ve seen group fitness participation plummet and personal trainers struggle as their clients take the summer off to travel, play in the sun, and give themselves a break.

How long is the program?
2 months! We start Tuesday July 3 and end Monday September 3. I’ve gotcha covered right through to Labour Day Weekend.
What will the workouts be like?
The workouts will be focused on strength training with minimal equipment. Many of the moves will be bodyweight-based, and you’ll only need a pair of dumbbells for the other moves.
You can expect an interval training format that will get your heart rate up while you experience the metabolic and hormonal benefits of strength training. You’ll have a quick warm-up and cool-down, and I’ll provide video demonstrations to make sure you know how to do all the moves with badass form.
What if I can’t do an exercise?
Pop into the private Facebook group to ask for suitable alternatives! Between myself and the other women in the group, you’ll have lots of suggestions.
How is this going to help me stay accountable if I’m still working out on my own?
Humans are social creatures, and one of the biggest reasons why external accountability works so well is that we don’t want to let our tribe members down. By sharing your intentions with the group and knowing you’ll need to check in each week, you’ll be much more likely to stick with your healthy lifestyle habits this summer.
And don’t worry — along the way I’ll be sharing tools and insights so you can begin to cultivate that sense of accountability from within.
