In today’s episode, we’re chatting with Dr. Marisha Lecea, a professor in a small rural college who spends 5 days out of the week away from her family. We chat about emotional resilience and how she deals with being away from her family while working towards her bigger vision, prioritizing your goals, productivity hacks, forest bathing, and environmental sustainability. They might seem like random topics, but you’d be surprised at how interconnected they all are!

Dr. Marisha Lecea is a scholar and an educator who is passionate about helping others overcome obstacles on their way to achieving their goals. She spends an inordinate amount of her free time researching and thinking about backyard chickens, and about the politics of home. She loves a good conversation and a good cup of hot coffee any time of year, but especially on a spring morning while listening to the forest birds. She’d love to have a conversation with you.
